Isalmabad Jan.04: J&K Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Medical Education and Technical education, R. S. Chib has said that coalition Government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah is determined to provide latest sports facilities to the sports lovers of the State.
The Minister was addressing a public meeting at Khanabal, Anantnag, during his extensive tour of the district.
While talking to media on the sidelines of the function he said, “Youth services and sports department will take concrete steps in order to provide every facility to the youths.” Adding that under the scheme of PYKA stadiums will be constructed at every block level so that our rural people can avail best facilities and sportsmen qualities will be cultivated them at early stage.
He said that Anantnag has produced a lot of good sports personalities in Cricket & Football, which have represented the state and some have even represented the Zonal Sides. “I have also proud Meharj Wadoo is representing J&k.” he added. Sports like football and cricket are popular among schoolchildren as well as adults.
“youths are nation builders so we have to readdares the problems of our youths at an ealier stage so that they can play a positive role in building the nation and integration .problems like unemployment has frustrated our youths” Chib Said.
He said that Madam Sonia Gandhi has directed us to strength the Coalition Government it will complete its 6 years tenure
Chib said that various concrete steps have been taken by the Government for modernizing the Stadium and polytechnics of the State including ITIs by virtue of liberal funding by the Central Government.

Earlier the Minister accompanied by Deputy Commissioner, took stock of the Essential commodities in the district.
