C M grievance cell has failed to create desired impact In J&K

Much publicized Chief Minister’s grievance cell has failed to create desired impact as the complaints referred for redressal get poor response from the concerned departments.

The Cell was established in the month of August this year inviting complaints from the general public with assurance of speedy redressal.
However, the authorities at the helm of affairs failed to respond within the stipulated time forcing the government to issue a fresh circular.
The fresh circular has been issued on the instructions of Chief Minister as he took serious note of failure of the departments to respond in the stipulated time frame of five days. .
“It ahs been noticed that the various departments and offices are not responding to the issues referred to them through the grievance cell on a fast track basis”, the circular issued by General Administrative Department reads.
According sources in General Administrative department Chief Minister who reviewed the working of the cell on finding poor response from the department to the filed complaints directed to issue a fresh circular impressing upon each department to comply with the orders and respond within the stipulated time of five days.
The departments have also been directed to send action taken report to the chief Minister’s Secretariat and the applicants
