JKPL appeals world to help settle Kashmir dispute

Srinagar, January 08 (KMS): The Jammu Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, has appealed to the United Nations, Organisation of Islamic Conference and other human rights groups to help resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
APHC leader and the Acting Chairman of JKPL, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, while addressing a gathering in Nambal area of Islamabad, said that Kashmir was the root causes of all conflicts between India and Pakistan. “Unless the Kashmir dispute is resolved no peace could be established in South Asia,” he added.
He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir had been struggling for achieving their right to self-determination promised to them through the resolutions adopted by the United Nations. He deplored that India, despite its commitments before the international community, had been denying this right to the Kashmiri people.
