Gilani urges India to accept disputed status of Kashmir

Srinagar, January 12 (KMS): In  Kashmir, veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has urged India to accept the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir.
Syed Ali Gilani in a media interview in Srinagar said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir were facing relentless repression at the hands of Indian troops for the last over 63 years. He said that, so far, more than 600,000 Kashmiris had rendered their lives for securing their right to self-determination.
He thanked Pakistan and its people for continued support to the cause of the oppressed people of Kashmir. The veteran Hurriyet leader said, “There is no decline in our enthusiasm and determination. We will fight for our right till the last drop of our blood.”
Meanwhile, the forum patronised by Syed Ali Gilani has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of its illegally detained leaders and activists including Peer Saifullah, Bilal Siddiqi, Syed Imtiyaz Haider and Bashir Ahmed Siddiqi.
The spokesman of the forum in a statement issued in Srinagar demanded of International Red Cross to send its doctors to examine the illegally detained ailing leaders and activists in jails
