PDP to organize demonstrations against shortage of essential commodities and human rights violation in J&K


Srinagar, 14th Feb; Peoples Democratic Party has decided to demonstrate  through out the state against  misgovernance and failure of the state government in providing  basic amenities like Ration, Gas, Kerosene Oil Power and water supply and rising human rights violation in the state
It has been also decided to high light the increasing trend of human rights violation especially the institutionalized indiscipline by security forces and to high light pointed killings of innocent teenagers.
In a statement issued here today a spokesman of the party said that the demonstrations against  human rights violation in the state will be held in Srinagar & Jammu simultaneously on 22nd Feb and the district wise demonstration  through out the state against misgovernance and  the failure s  the state government, for its failures for not providing basic amenities  to the people of the state like ration, gas, kerosene oil, Power , water  and other basic amenities  shall be  conducted on 18thFeb. 2010 at all district head quarters of the state.
The demonstrations shall be led by the senior leaders of the party and will highlight the complete failure of the government in providing the facilities and ensuring peace and security to the people of the state, the spokesman added.
