Udampur Resident detained by Anantnag Police with Fuki Indian Army Flags off All India tour under Sadbawana

Islamabad, January 5: As part of its initiatives to reach out to the local population, the Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavna organized an all India tour for children of Good will School Phalgam Anantnag.Tour comprising of 34 under privileged children and one teacher from school was flagged off today by Commander Sector Rashtriya Rifles Karnal .J.Nayar in a colorful ceremony held at Khanabal. The tour is scheduled to visit Jammu, Pune, Delhi, and Mumbai and is being conducted by a 1 Sector Rashtriya Rifles.

The tour plans to see Arabian Sea and visit INS Hansa, ‘The Premier Naval Training Academy’, Air Force Academy and major tourist attractions like Taj Mahal, Jama Masjid, Lumbini Park and Hussain Sagar Lake in next days. The tour shall also experience a ride on the Delhi Metro Rail and visit shopping malls.
Speaking on the occasion, Commander 1 Sector Rashtriya Rifles while flagging off the tour stated that the aim is to provide the young impressionable minds an opportunity to witness the development taking place in rest of India, which would motivate and inspire them to work hard and bring prosperity in their region. Local population and civil dignitaries present on the occasion lauded the efforts of the Army in providing these underprivileged children an opportunity of their life time.

Meanwhile Anantnag police headed by station House Officer Liyqat Ali Khan Warun Kumar Gupta S/o Ajay Gupta resident of M.H Udampur and recovered 73kgs of fuki from his procession while he was traveling in Maruti Car bearing registration JK14A-0752 and took the cognizance under FIR  No. 1/2011/SEC 15/18 NDPS, Locals have appreciated the move taken by the police
