Hurriyat must talk to interlocutors: Omar

Islamabad , Jan 6: Chief Minister , Omar Abdullah inaugurated two bridges at Amad and Wagad , the villages of Pahalgam, on which 11 crores have been spent by R&B . While addressing the public rally Omar Abdullah advised Hurriyat to cooperate with the interlocutors of New Delhi for the early solution of Kashmir .While taking the dig to largest opposition party of Jammu Kashmir Legislative Assembly , he challenged Mehboob Mufti for showing any visible power project setup by PDP regime and ridiculed them for the lantern protest , which they have staged in the Summer capital of Srinagar on Monday .

Lashing out at the BJP:

“The party is fanning the flames of the conflict and trying to give Kashmir a communal party of creating trouble, when the Valley is witnessing calm after months of street protests between June and September last year that left over 110 people dead’” Omar said , adding that when tricolor is being hoisted in whole of Jammu and Kashmir , what is the fun to make appoint .

National Conference knows the intentions of BJP and his government will not allow to make a law and order problem in the state, Omar said.
Elections are no way a solution to the Kashmir issue but are out people from the day to day problems like Road, Water and electricity. He appealed the people for participating in forth coming Panchayat Election so that the government could reach out at every doorstep.

Omar lamented that last year’s protests at unbearable loss to our economy which is telling upon the overall development of the state in general and Kashmir valley in particular he reiterated that some people among separatists in connivance with opposition party are responsible for stocking violence in valley and fomenting unrest while Chief Minster
